Who are we you ask? Just some friends who like you, enjoy drinking wine. Some of us have experience in the wine industry, and wine certifications to go along with it. Others have visited a number of vineyards across the globe. Other just have a lot of experience drinking wine. Others are just getting to know wine.
What makes Good Wine Guys different? We do not like stuffiness and seriousness that tends to surround wine. How could something so fun be turned into almost unapproachable? (It may stem from the fact that wine had to be imported during the US Colonial period, thereby making it a beverage mainly for the well-heeled. From there stuffiness followed like a bad hangover….) Most places outside the US, wine is just another option for what to drink.
Our goal is to give you great wine recommendations, as well and entertain you with some tidbits about wine and regions. Throw in some food and wine pairings as well. We take wine and food seriously. We do not take ourselves seriously.
