COPPOLA CLARET – CALIFORNIA CABERNET
Surprisingly light, which is an oxymoron for being a cab.
Good stuff, maybe the best of Coppola’s wines.
Goes well with – a bit trickery as lighter than a traditional cab. Charcuterie, but maybe not a heavy steak in gorgonzola sauce.
Fun fact – Claret is a British term from the 1700s for wines from Bordeaux
