La Madrid Cabernet Franc – Argentina

Really cool and interesting wine.  More to it than a typical Malbec, but less heavy and less familiar than a normal cab. Does same but different actually exist?

Goes with – burgers, charcuterie, pizza

Fun fact – Cabernet Franc is more of a blending grape in France, but Argentina is making it stand out solo.   Malbec started out more of a mixing wine as well in France, and we all know how well Argentina has done with Malbec.
