The name (amore), plus the how it promoted the organic aspect made me skeptical. Looks like too much marketing to me, less about the wine. But of all the Sicilian wines where I was shopping, this wine was nearly sold out. That to me is a good sign, so I tried it.
Really good. Goes from good to jammy to good to jammy back to good. Surprisingly light for the flavor.
Goes well will – simple but hearty pasta dishes, like spaghetti with some meat.
Fun fact – Sicily has been making wine for literally thousands of years.
